Les sols alcalins se caract\u00e9risent par l\u2019accumulation de sels solubles et de carbonates et se retrouvent souvent dans des zones riches en calcaire. Les sols acides sont caract\u00e9ris\u00e9s par la pr\u00e9sence d\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne libre et d\u2019ions d\u2019aluminium et peuvent \u00eatre caus\u00e9s par les pluies acides, l\u2019application d\u2019engrais ou la d\u00e9composition de mati\u00e8res organiques.<\/p>\n<p>La plupart des sols naturels ont un pH compris entre 4,0 et 8,0, en fonction de la g\u00e9ologie de la r\u00e9gion. La disponibilit\u00e9 des macronutriments et des micronutriments est l\u2019un des facteurs cl\u00e9s de la croissance des plantes. La disponibilit\u00e9 des macro et des micronutriments est directement li\u00e9e au pH. Le pH du sol et les solutions nutritives d\u00e9termineront la solubilit\u00e9 des nutriments.<\/p>\n<p>Les sols dont le pH est compris entre 4,0 et 5,0 sont consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme fortement acides; dans cet intervalle acide, la solubilit\u00e9 de min\u00e9raux tels que l\u2019aluminium, le fer et le mangan\u00e8se augmente et peut devenir toxique pour les plantes.<\/p>\n<p>Les sols dont le pH est sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 8,0 ou 9,0 sont consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme fortement alcalins; \u00e0 cette plage de pH, les \u00e9l\u00e9ments nutritifs n\u00e9cessaires \u00e0 la croissance des plantes ne sont ni solubles ni disponibles pour l\u2019absorption. Alors que la valeur optimale du pH pour l\u2019absorption des nutriments d\u00e9pend de l\u2019esp\u00e8ce de plante cultiv\u00e9e,\u00a0<strong>la majorit\u00e9 des plantes se d\u00e9veloppent dans un sol l\u00e9g\u00e8rement acide<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Il est \u00e9galement important de noter qu\u2019il existe des valeurs de pH optimales pour les bact\u00e9ries b\u00e9n\u00e9fiques du sol, telles que les bact\u00e9ries qui convertissent l\u2019azote atmosph\u00e9rique (N\u2082) en azote disponible du sol (NH\u2084 +). Toutes les op\u00e9rations et les param\u00e8tres, sont faites \u00e0 travers seulement deux boutons et le bo\u00eetier est \u00e9tanche \u00e0 l\u2019eau et \u00e9valu\u00e9 pour les conditions IP67.
