On pourrait aussi dire qu&rsquo;une mol\u00e9cule r\u00e9duit tandis que l&rsquo;autre oxydase. Le potentiel inclus dans ce processus est appel\u00e9 ORP \u2013 potentiel redox.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;ORP est un param\u00e8tre tr\u00e8s important, que nous devons contr\u00f4ler, par exemple dans le traitement de l&rsquo;eau, dans les piscines, dans lesquelles un oxydant, comme le chlore, que nous ajoutons \u00e0 l&rsquo;eau afin d&rsquo;\u00e9liminer les impuret\u00e9s. Plus la valeur ORP est \u00e9lev\u00e9e, plus la puissance du d\u00e9sinfectant est \u00e9lev\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00c9lectrodes ORP<\/strong><br \/>Les mesures de redox sont bas\u00e9es sur la diff\u00e9rence entre l&rsquo;\u00e9lectrode d&rsquo;or et de platine et l&rsquo;\u00e9lectrode de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence. La m\u00eame \u00e9lectrode de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence que celle utilis\u00e9e avec l&rsquo;\u00e9lectrode pH (Ag\/AgCl), est \u00e9galement utilis\u00e9e avec le potentiel redox.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Les \u00e9lectrodes ORP doivent-elles \u00eatre calibr\u00e9es ?<\/strong><br \/>Non. Les \u00e9lectrodes ORP n&rsquo;ont pas besoin d&rsquo;\u00eatre \u00e9talonn\u00e9es avec l&rsquo;appareil de mesure comme le pH. N\u00e9anmoins, les \u00e9lectrodes ORP doivent \u00eatre conditionn\u00e9es avant utilisation. Lorsque l&rsquo;\u00e9lectrode est neuve, faites tremper la pointe dans l&rsquo;eau chaude du robinet. Cela am\u00e9liorera l&rsquo;\u00e9coulement de la jonction de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence. Pour v\u00e9rifier le fonctionnement de l&rsquo;\u00e9lectrode, immerger la pointe dans la solution ORP HI 7021L ou HI 7022L. La lecture doit \u00eatre de +\/- 50mV \u00e0 partir de la valeur indiqu\u00e9e sur la bouteille. Si la lecture n&rsquo;est pas dans les +\/-50mV, un traitement d&rsquo;oxydation ou de r\u00e9duction avec HI 7092 ou HI 7091 est requis. Il pr\u00e9parera \u00e9galement la surface de l&rsquo;\u00e9lectrode et acc\u00e9l\u00e9rera le temps de r\u00e9ponse initial. \u00c9tant donn\u00e9 que les \u00e9lectrodes de traitement en ligne sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 dans une solution, un simple test avec HI 7021L ou HI 7022L vous montrera l&rsquo;\u00e9tat de l&rsquo;\u00e9lectrode. Si votre sonde n&rsquo;est pas suffisamment pr\u00e9cise apr\u00e8s conditionnement et test, suivez la proc\u00e9dure de nettoyage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Quel capteur ORP dois-je utiliser en platine ou en or&nbsp;?<\/strong><br \/>Capteur platine : utilisation en r\u00e9action oxydante (au dessus de 500mV) comme les piscines &amp; spas, eau potable municipale.
