auparavant, nourrissent les plantes. Cela provoque une surabondance d&rsquo;algues et de croissance des plantes, permettant \u00e9ventuellement la prolif\u00e9ration d&rsquo;algues. A ce stade, le pire sc\u00e9nario possible est des eaux priv\u00e9es d&rsquo;oxyg\u00e8ne (hypoxiques) et le danger de diminution du nombre de poissons (poissons tu\u00e9s). Au fur et \u00e0 mesure que les algues poussent, elles ont tendance \u00e0 bloquer la lumi\u00e8re du soleil pour les plantes, les faisant mourir.<\/p>\n<p>La mati\u00e8re v\u00e9g\u00e9tale finit par se d\u00e9composer et, avec l&rsquo;aide de bact\u00e9ries, produit de grandes quantit\u00e9s de dioxyde de carbone. Cela entra\u00eenera une baisse du pH, un processus connu sous le nom d&rsquo;acidification, ainsi qu&rsquo;une privation d&rsquo;oxyg\u00e8ne.<\/p>\n<p>En termes de probl\u00e8me environnemental, l&rsquo;effet est beaucoup plus grand que le mot lui-m\u00eame (eutrophisation).<\/p>\n<p>Nous pouvons nous attendre \u00e0 ce que de nombreuses esp\u00e8ces disparaissent en raison du manque d&rsquo;habitat et des changements dans l&rsquo;\u00e9quilibre hydrique. Il fait r\u00e9f\u00e9rence au niveau d&rsquo;oxyg\u00e8ne libre et non li\u00e9 dans l&rsquo;eau ou d&rsquo;autres liquides. Cet oxyg\u00e8ne libre n&rsquo;est donc li\u00e9 \u00e0 aucun autre \u00e9l\u00e9ment et renseigne sur la qualit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;eau, car il influence directement les organismes vivants dans l&rsquo;eau. Dans une aquaculture ou un \u00e9tang, la valeur OD doit \u00eatre comprise entre 5 et 12 mg\/l (ppm). Il est entre autres indispensable \u00e0 la photosynth\u00e8se du phytoplancton et constitue donc la base d&rsquo;une cha\u00eene alimentaire fonctionnelle. Une saturation en oxyg\u00e8ne de 60 \u00e0 70 % est n\u00e9cessaire pour un \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me sain et des poissons en bonne sant\u00e9. En g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, la plupart des esp\u00e8ces de poissons croissent et prosp\u00e8rent dans une plage d&rsquo;OD de 5 \u00e0 12 mg\/L (ppm). Cependant, si les niveaux chutent en dessous de 4 mg\/L, certaines esp\u00e8ces peuvent cesser de s&rsquo;alimenter, devenir stress\u00e9es et commencer \u00e0 mourir. Par exemple, une eau \u00e0 une temp\u00e9rature de 32 \u00baC peut contenir jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 7,3 mg\/L d&rsquo;oxyg\u00e8ne, tandis qu&rsquo;une eau \u00e0 7 \u00baC peut contenir 12,1 mg\/L. \u00c0 mesure que la temp\u00e9rature de l&rsquo;eau augmente, les niveaux d&rsquo;oxyg\u00e8ne diminuent.
