Klor se kombinira sa spojevima koji sadr\u017ee du\u0161ik da formiraju kloramine, tijekom kojih \u0107e se koristiti samo dio klora, a ostatak ostaje aktivan, nastavljaju\u0107i s dezinfekcijskim djelovanjem.<\/p>\n<p>Kombinirani klor je koli\u010dina klora koja se ve\u0107 kombinirala sa spojevima koji sadr\u017ee du\u0161ik. Mnogo je manje u\u010dinkovit kao dezinficijens nego slobodni klor. Dodavanje kombiniranog klora i slobodnog klora daje ukupni klor. Voditelj bazena mora ciljati na savr\u0161enu ravnote\u017eu gdje su slobodni i ukupni klor proporcionalno jednaki, i tako zadr\u017eati kombinirane razine klora blizu nule. Prisutnost kloramina je nepo\u017eeljna zbog izrazitog \u201emirisa na bazen\u201c, kao i iritacije o\u010diju i sluznice uzrokovanih kombiniranim klorovima poput dikloramina.<\/p>\n<p>Komercijalni klor za dezinfekciju mo\u017ee biti dostupan kao plin (Cl), natrijev hipoklorit ili izbjeljiva\u010d (NaOCl) ili u \u010dvrstom stanju poput kalcijevog hipoklorit, klorohidantoina ili spojeva kloroaurinske kiseline. Ovi spojevi, jednom otopljeni u vodi, uspostavljaju ravnote\u017eu izme\u0111u hipoklorne kiseline (HOCl) i hipokloritnih iona (OCl\u00af). Pri niskom pH gotovo sav slobodni klor je u molekularnom obliku HOCl, a pri pH od oko 7,5, omjer HOCI i OCl\u00af je 50:50. Budu\u0107i da je ionski oblik OCl\u00af sredstvo za dezinfekciju sporog djelovanja, a molekulski HOCl je brzo djeluju\u0107i, va\u017eno je redovito mjeriti pH. Kao op\u0107enito pravilo, preporu\u010duje se pH od oko 7,2 za odr\u017eavanje uvjeta dezinfekcije brzog djelovanja.<\/p>\n<p>Idealne koncentracije klora variraju ovisno o uvjetima u bazenu ili toplicama. Klor \u0107e se razgraditi ako je izlo\u017een UV svjetlu. Za stabiliziranje klora u prisutnosti UV svjetla, cijanurna kiselina mo\u017ee se dodati vanjskim bazenima. Prednost broma le\u017ei u njegovoj stabilnosti na vi\u0161im temperaturama (pogodno za grijane bazene i vru\u0107e kade), te njegovoj odr\u017eanoj dezinfekcijskoj snazi \u200b\u200bna vi\u0161em pH. Nadalje, vrlo je malo reakcija izme\u0111u broma i du\u0161i\u010dnih spojeva, smanjuju\u0107i neugodan miris i probleme s iritacijom o\u010diju. Glavni nedostatak broma je sporije djeluju\u0107a dezinfekcijska snaga, \u0161to ga \u010dini manje prikladnim za ve\u0107e bazene.<\/p>\n<h2>Ozon<\/h2>\n<p>Ozon je vrlo sna\u017eno oksidacijsko sredstvo koje uni\u0161tava organske spojeve koje je posebno te\u0161ko oksidirati. Omogu\u0107uje upravitelju bazena da vrlo u\u010dinkovito uklanja kombinirani klor bez \u010destog osvje\u017eavanja velikih koli\u010dina vode iz bazena. Do trenutka kada voda pro\u0111e kroz filter jedinice, ozon je ve\u0107 zavr\u0161io saniranje, a na njega ne utje\u010de razina pH.<\/p>\n<p>Upravo zbog svoje sna\u017ene oksidacijske mo\u0107i povratna voda mo\u017ee sadr\u017eavati koncentracije ozona u tragovima. Ako su vrijednosti alkalnosti dovoljno visoke, ne\u0107e biti te\u0161ko kontrolirati pH. Ve\u0107ina voditelja bazena radije dr\u017ei pH izme\u0111u 7,2 i 7,4 kako bi najbolje odr\u017eali niske postotke korozije i dovoljnu aktivnost klora.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Temperatura<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mikroorganizmi br\u017ee rastu na vi\u0161im temperaturama, pa je potreban nivo saniranja bazena ili toplica u velikoj mjeri ovisan o temperaturi vode; to se posebno odnosi na grijane bazene i toplice. Op\u0107e je pravilo da se za svako porast temperature vode iznad 5 \u00b0 C za 5,5 \u00b0 C koncentracija potrebnog sredstva za dezinfekciju udvostru\u010di.<\/p>\n<h2>ORP (Redox)<\/h2>\n<p>Dok je slobodni klor mjera koli\u010dine dostupnog klora koji je prisutan u bazenskoj i spa vodi, druga svojstva vode mogu utjecati na sposobnost tog klora da pravilno dezinficira. U otopini mo\u017ee biti dovoljna koncentracija slobodnog klora, ali na temelju odre\u0111enih svojstava mo\u017eda ne\u0107e biti u\u010dinkovito dezinficiranje. Oksidacijsko-redukcijski potencijal (ORP) izravno mjeri koliko je jak oksidacijski potencijal u otopini, odre\u0111uju\u0107i na taj na\u010din u\u010dinkovitost sanitacije. Dva bazena s istom koncentracijom slobodnog klora mogu imati potpuno razli\u010dite ORP vrijednosti temeljene na pH, koncentraciji cijanurne kiseline i temperaturi. Stoga je ORP najbolji pokazatelj u\u010dinkovitosti sanitacije bazena ili lje\u010dili\u0161ta.
