Ovisno o veli\u010dini receptorskog kapaciteta pojedinih prijemnika, potrebno je odre\u0111eno vrijeme da se uo\u010de mogu\u0107i poreme\u0107aji prirodne biolo\u0161ke ravnote\u017ee dijelova vodenih sustava. Jako poreme\u0107eni dijelovi prirodnog okoli\u0161a, posebice voda, ubrzo postaju neupotrebljivi za mnoge namjene. Kako bi se za\u0161titila kvaliteta prirodnih vodnih sustava, komunalne otpadne vode prije ispu\u0161tanja u okoli\u0161 moraju ispunjavati odre\u0111ene uvjete kvalitete.\n<br><br>\nKako bi se otpadne vode mogle na zadovoljavaju\u0107i na\u010din pro\u010distiti i ispustiti u prijemnike, potrebno je analizirati u\u010dinkovitost pro\u010di\u0161\u0107avanja i djelovati na odgovaraju\u0107i na\u010din. Analiza u\u010dinkovitosti pro\u010di\u0161\u0107avanja podrazumijeva ispitivanje fizikalnih, kemijskih i biolo\u0161kih pokazatelja, kakvo\u0107e vode na ulazu i izlazu iz pro\u010dista\u010da. Za potrebe pra\u0107enja analiziraju se fizikalno-kemijski pokazatelji kakvo\u0107e otpadnih voda (kemijska potro\u0161nja kisika (KPK), biokemijska potro\u0161nja kisika (BPK), koncentracija suspendiranih krutina, ukupni fosfor i ukupni du\u0161ik).\n<br><br>\nKemijska potro\u0161nja kisika (KPK) kriti\u010dno je mjerenje obrade otpada u svemu, od komunalnih sustava do tokova otpada u proizvodnji hrane.\n<br><br>\n<strong>Izvo\u0111enje KPK testova na pravi na\u010din va\u017eno je u odre\u0111ivanju u\u010dinkovitosti pro\u010di\u0161\u0107avanja otpadnih voda i mo\u017ee pomo\u0107i u dijagnosticiranju bilo kakvih problema u tretmanu. KPK metoda tako\u0111er se koristi u primjenama u elektranama, kemijskoj industriji, industriji papira, praonicama rublja, studijama za\u0161tite okoli\u0161a i op\u0107em obrazovanju. Koli\u010dina utro\u0161enog oksidansa izra\u017eava se u smislu njegove ekvivalentnosti kisika. KPK se izra\u017eava u mg\/l O2. Zbog svojih jedinstvenih kemijskih svojstava, dikromatni ion (Cr<sub>2<\/sub>O<sub>7<\/sub><sup>2-<\/sup>) je u ve\u0107ini slu\u010dajeva specificirani oksidans. Me\u0111utim, organska komponenta prevladava i predstavlja ve\u0107i interes. KPK je definiran test, i vrijeme probave i ja\u010dina reagensa i koncentracija KPK u uzorku utje\u010du na stupanj oksidacije uzorka.\n<br><br>\nKPK test se obi\u010dno kombinira s drugim va\u017enim testovima kako bi se potvrdila u\u010dinkovitost ure\u0111aja za pro\u010di\u0161\u0107avanje.\n<br><br>\nPostoji op\u0107eprihva\u0107ena klasifikacija otpadnih voda prema potrebi za kisikom, koja se mjeri biolo\u0161kom metodom (BOD) ili metodom KPK.\n<br><br>\n<strong>Zna\u010daj: sprje\u010davanje eutrofikacije<\/strong>\n<br><br>\nKao mjera\u010di organske tvari u uzorku, BPK i COD su kriti\u010dni u otpadnoj vodi za odre\u0111ivanje koli\u010dine otpada u vodi. Otpad s visokim sadr\u017eajem organske tvari zahtijeva obradu kako bi se smanjila koli\u010dina organskog otpada prije ispu\u0161tanja u prihvatne vode.\n<br><br>\nAko postrojenja za pro\u010di\u0161\u0107avanje vode ne smanje organski sadr\u017eaj otpadne vode prije nego \u0161to dospije u prirodne vode, mikrobi u vodi koja prima organsku tvar \u0107e potro\u0161iti.\n<br><br>\nKao rezultat toga, ovi mikrobi \u0107e tako\u0111er konzumirati kisik u vodi koja prima kao dio razgradnje organskog otpada. Ovo smanjenje kisika zajedno s uvjetima bogatim hranjivim tvarima naziva se <a href=\"http:\/\/oceanservice.noaa.gov\/education\/kits\/estuaries\/media\/supp_estuar09b_eutro.html\"><strong>eutrofikacija<\/strong><\/a>, stanje prirodne vode koje mo\u017ee dovesti do smrti \u017eivotinjskog svijeta.\n<br><br>\nPostrojenja za otpadne vode smanjuju KPK i BPK kori\u0161tenjem istih mikroba u kontroliranim uvjetima. Kalijev dikromat je vrlo jak oksidans i ima mo\u0107 oksidacije izme\u0111u 95-100% organskog materijala.\n<br><br>\nDigestija se provodi na uzorcima sa zadanom koli\u010dinom oksidansa, sumporne kiseline i topline (150\u00b0C). Metalne soli se obi\u010dno uklju\u010duju kako bi se suzbile bilo kakve smetnje i katalizirala digestija. Digestija obi\u010dno traje dva sata.\n<br><br>\nTijekom digestije potrebno je imati vi\u0161ak oksidansa; to osigurava potpunu oksidaciju uzorka. Kao rezultat toga, va\u017eno je odrediti koli\u010dinu vi\u0161ka oksidansa. Dvije naj\u010de\u0161\u0107e metode za to su titracija i kolorimetrija.\n<br><br>\n<strong>KPK \u2013 mjereno titracijom<\/strong>\n<br><br>\nUzorak se zadr\u017eava u jako kiseloj otopini s poznatim vi\u0161kom kalij-dikromata (K<sub>2<\/sub>Cr<sub>2<\/sub>O<sub>7<\/sub>). Nakon digestije, preostali nereducirani K<sub>2<\/sub>Cr<sub>2<\/sub>O<sub>7<\/sub> titrira se \u017eeljeznim amonijevim sulfatom kako bi se odredila koli\u010dina utro\u0161enog K<sub>2<\/sub>Cr<sub>2<\/sub>O<sub>7<\/sub> i oksidiraju\u0107a tvar se izra\u010dunava u smislu kisikovog ekvivalenta. U mjera\u010d je programirano 10 klju\u010dnih parametara kvalitete vode i otpadnih voda s 20 razli\u010ditih metoda koje pokrivaju vi\u0161e raspona. Parametri digestije pro\u010di\u0161\u0107avanja otpadnih voda uklju\u010duju KPK, ukupni du\u0161ik i ukupni fosfor, koji su va\u017eni za pra\u0107enje uklanjanja hranjivih tvari. HI83314 tako\u0111er nudi na\u010din mjerenja apsorbancije za provjeru performansi i za korisnike koji \u017eele razviti vlastite krivulje koncentracije u odnosu na apsorbanciju. Ove bo\u010dice za KPK su prethodno izmije\u0161ane i spremne za upotrebu.<\/p>\n<p>U prodaji postoji nekoliko vrsta reagensa:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Reagensi uskla\u0111eni s EPA:<\/strong> Ove bo\u010dice su u skladu s EPA metodom 410.4 i Standardnim metodama 5220D. Ovi reagensi koriste formulaciju ove metode koja sadr\u017ei \u017eivin sulfat, kalijev dikromat i sumpornu kiselinu. Odaberite ove bo\u010dice ako va\u0161 rad zahtijeva da prijavite rezultate KPK regulatornoj agenciji koja zahtijeva EPA metodologije.\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reagensi uskla\u0111eni s ISO:<\/strong> u skladu s metodama ISO 15705:2002 s obzirom na njihov sastav. Sastavi ovih bo\u010dica s KPK-om sli\u010dni su onima u EPA standardima, tako da tako\u0111er sadr\u017ee \u017eivu.\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reagensi bez \u017eive:<\/strong> ve\u0107ina bo\u010dica za KPK sadr\u017ei \u017eivin sulfat za uklanjanje kloridnih smetnji, koje bi ina\u010de stvorile la\u017eno visoku vrijednost KPK. Bo\u010dice bez KPK-a ne sadr\u017ee \u017eivu, \u0161to ih \u010dini osjetljivijima na smetnje klorida, ali uvelike smanjuju rizike za sigurnost i okoli\u0161 rukovanja \u017eivom.
