To je jako alkoholno pi\u0107e koje se dobiva vi\u0161egodi\u0161njim dozrijevanjem vinskog destilata u hrastovim ba\u010dvama. Konjak se proizvodi samo od odabranih sorti gro\u017e\u0111a koje rastu na odre\u0111enom podru\u010dju Francuske. Proizvodnja mo\u017ee trajati od nekoliko godina do nekoliko desetlje\u0107a. Bolja rektifikacija \u0107e biti izra\u017eenija sporijom destilacijom i rezultirat \u0107e konjakom suhog okusa. To je zbog nedostatka odre\u0111enih spojeva zaostalih u frakciji. Daljnjom destilacijom sadr\u017eaj etanola se pove\u0107ava na 70% vol.\/vol.
