To je jako alkoholno pic\u0301e koje se dobija vi\u0161egodi\u0161njim sazrevanjem vinskog destilata u hrastovim buradima. Konjak se proizvodi samo od odabranih sorti gro\u017e\u0111a koje rastu u odre\u0111enom podru\u010dju Francuske. Proizvodnja mo\u017ee trajati od nekoliko godina do nekoliko decenija. Bolja rektifikacija c\u0301e biti izra\u017eenija sporijom destilacijom i rezultirac\u0301e konjakom suvog ukusa. Ovo je zbog nedostatka odre\u0111enih jedinjenja zaostalih u frakciji. Daljom destilacijom, sadr\u017eaj etanola se povec\u0301ava na 70% vol.\/vol.
